Course Overview
The Rally Point Decision Performance System (RPDPS) is a two-day integrated law-enforcement training program examining how officers recognize developing problems, make decisions as time and options narrow, and continue functioning once an event moves into overt negative action.
RPDPS combines 10 Seconds Before Violence and When Time Runs Out into one continuous framework.
The first portion of the course focuses on pre-action recognition: establishing a behavioral baseline, detecting when the original interpretation of an encounter no longer fits, and recognizing pattern breaks, behavioral shifts, manipulation, leakage, and suspect-side decision compression.
The second portion examines officer-side performance once time runs out. Participants study how missed or dismissed information, cognitive load, hesitation, disrupted action, fragmentation, and imperfect performance affect decisions inside a rapidly developing event—and how useful function and adaptation can return under pressure.
Together, these components give participants a shared framework for examining how recognition, orientation, timing, decisions, and visible behavior develop across the full event timeline.
What Participants Will Examine

How to establish a behavioral baseline during an encounter
How to recognize when the original interpretation of an encounter stops fitting
Pattern breaks, behavioral shifts, manipulation or script control, and leakage
How suspect-side decision compression may become visible before overt negative action
The effect of delayed recognition on time, distance, options, and decision space
How missed and dismissed information affect officer-side performance
What happens to decision-making as time compresses and cognitive load increases
Hesitation, disrupted action, fragmentation, and imperfect performance under pressure
How adaptation and useful function can return during a developing event
How recognition, compression, and operational outcome connect within one continuous decision-performance system
The course is not designed to provide prediction certainty. It gives participants a structured method for recognizing change, reinterpreting developing conditions, and examining performance before and after overt negative action begins.
Registration and Course Fees
Launch Rate — $495 per attendee
Submit a Seat Request by September 1, 2026, to secure the launch rate. This rate applies to individual attendees and agency groups.
Agency Team Rate — $495 per attendee
Beginning September 2, agencies requesting three or more seats together remain eligible for the $495-per-attendee rate.
Standard Rate — $550 per attendee
Beginning September 2, the standard rate applies to registrations of one or two attendees.
The applicable rate is based on the date the Seat Request is submitted and will be honored while agency approval and payment arrangements are completed.
Registration closes September 28, 2026, or when the course reaches capacity.

Online payment is not required when submitting your request.
Complete the Seat Request form to begin registration. Rally Point will confirm availability and provide instructions based on your selected payment preference, including credit card, agency purchase order, or invoice.
The rate available on the date your Seat Request is submitted will be honored while your agency completes its approval and payment process.
Submitting a Seat Request does not confirm enrollment. Registration is confirmed after you receive written confirmation from Rally Point and payment arrangements or an approved agency purchase order have been completed.

Cancellation, Transfer, and Refund Policy
Participant Cancellations
Cancellation requests must be submitted in writing to Derek@RallyPointTC.com.
30 or more calendar days before the course: Registration fees are refundable, less any nonrefundable payment-processing fees.
15–29 calendar days before the course: Fifty percent of the registration fee is refundable.
14 or fewer calendar days before the course: Registration fees are nonrefundable.
Failure to attend: No refund or credit will be issued for a no-show.
Refunds, when approved, will be returned to the original payment method or paying agency. Please allow up to 10 business days for processing.
Attendee Transfers
A registration may be transferred to another qualified attendee from the same organization at no additional charge. Transfer requests must be submitted before the course begins and include the replacement attendee’s contact information.
Registration fees may not be transferred to a different course or future training date unless Rally Point provides written approval.
Cancellation or Rescheduling by Rally Point
Rally Point Training & Consulting reserves the right to cancel, postpone, reschedule, relocate, or modify a course when necessary, including because of insufficient enrollment, instructor availability, host-site requirements, facility issues, safety concerns, severe weather, government action, emergency conditions, or circumstances beyond Rally Point’s reasonable control.
If Rally Point cancels the course and does not provide a replacement date, the person or organization that paid the registration fee may choose:
A full refund of registration fees paid; or
A credit for the same amount toward a future Rally Point course.
If the course is rescheduled to a different date, registered participants may transfer their registration to the replacement date, receive a credit toward a future Rally Point course, or request a refund of registration fees paid.
A reasonable change to the training room, facility, daily schedule, instructional sequence, or instructor does not constitute cancellation, provided the course remains in the same general location and retains its essential content and dates.
Travel and Related Expenses
Participants and their organizations are responsible for all travel arrangements and related expenses.
Rally Point Training & Consulting is not responsible for airfare, mileage, lodging, meals, rental vehicles, lost wages, overtime, administrative expenses, cancellation charges, change fees, or any other costs incurred in connection with attending the course—even if the course is cancelled, postponed, relocated, or rescheduled.
Participants are encouraged to use refundable or changeable travel arrangements.
Limit of Remedy
If Rally Point cancels or materially reschedules a course, Rally Point’s financial obligation is limited to refunding the registration fees actually received for that course.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Rally Point Training & Consulting will not be liable for incidental, indirect, consequential, or travel-related expenses arising from a course cancellation, postponement, rescheduling, relocation, or modification.
Acceptance of Policy
Submission of a Seat Request does not create a confirmed registration or payment obligation. This policy becomes applicable when registration is confirmed or payment, an approved purchase order, or other payment authorization is accepted.
By completing registration, the participant and paying organization acknowledge and accept this Cancellation, Transfer, and Refund Policy.
